How many racers on the X?

Me and a friend did our first couple races this year and had a great time ! I just turned 40 so i ran the "Veterans" class ... I found out i need alot more cardio and i need to work on my lower back muscles . I did a lot of motocross back in the day but my body can't take that pounding anymore ! Jetski racing is pretty demanding too but it doesn't hurt as much when you crash ! We're planning on racing all the Region 6 races next season . We practice all Summer in Lorain,Ohio - if anyone is interested in riding bouys come on out !

I started racing skis in 93 or 94 in region 7. Added a couch class in 96. Went to the WF's in 97, competed in both vet ski and novice 1200LTD that year. I started to get into offshore/endurance racing in 99. Won the Expert open offshore national championship in 01. My last race was a pro/am ski race in 04. I was starting to really miss racing but I had more fun at last years' Daytona freeride than just about any race I went to.

Charlie, I'm glad you had a good time at your first race! I heard only 8 peeps showed up to race, but heard everyone had a good time.
That was my friend LB from Nebraska on that Monster 750sxi pro. He borrowed a helmet from me.

In that picture you just posted I live straight across the lake in that cluster of houses. I was gonna cruise my boat over and watch you guys but it was just to cloudy/cool and I was feeein lazy.. lol
I did take my boat over there the night before when it was warm out and was checking out the hydroplane boats getting ready. Those things look like fun to drive, just wouldnt wasn to flip one.

I am Really hoping to race this year. I was planning on racing last year but the switch up between Hotwater Tour and Mikes Hx tour got me so confused I had no idea what was going on.

I just need to figure out what class to race in.... Apparently my boat is not elegable for vintage class (not even against a 650sx or 750sx), I'll have to be in GP class, but theres no damn way my boat can keep up with a GP SXR or even superjet. Bah. Anybody got advice, or know any loopholes? Hell I'll ride in just a practice circuit to ride with other people in the bouys.

Or should I just say :):):):) it and buy a 8mil powervalve motor and a 21/28* hooker to blow the SXRs away?

Started racing in 02 Am Vets 1200 SS and 1200 SS.

Won region 5 champ in 04 in Am Vets, and #2 in 1200SS

Went to Worlds in 04 was in 4th In LCQ and missed a bouy which bumped me back to 8th and didnt make it.

Ran Sport Mod last year and somhow I won Region Champ in that class. I think it was by default due to not many entries. haha

Just go out there an race, or help support somone that races.

Went to Nationals last year, didnt race but held on the line for 8 different classes!!

I'm racing with the Oasis crew this year again, I race with this dude...I started racing in 89. Stand-ups and B1 blaster. Not ready for a wheelchair yet.

Two years racing novice ski in the WCWA. Always good turn outs up here. My first year, second race we had 18 beginners on the line. The carnage ensued...

Racing is a blast! I was all about freestyle and then tried one race and was hooked!
