I've owned a 300sx, 440, 550, x-2, sn, and rn. I'd really like to ride a monster HP lightweight rn to see if I really want to spend the money on one. The highest HP ski I've ridden is just a limited setup with total loss (mine).

(There’s two winners)..... For flat water- SXR and for Surf -Pre 2008 RN SJ. NOTE. If I could only have one ski for both the flat and the surf it would be the Pre 2008 RN SJ.

Say what?
For flat water SXR?
I thought the 08 SJ was the one all others, including SXR, would be looking to beat.........in any conditions?:thinking:

You’d think so huh? Nicholas Ruiz has been racing the 08 hull for a few years now and he hasn’t exactly cleaned house on the race circuit. But time will tell, we’ll see at World Finals this year if all the top pros show up on new 08’s. And as far as the surf goes, I ride with Ross Champion a few times a week and when he got his new 08, he had to modify it heavily to get it surf ready. He even added regular tubbies on top of the existing factory hull sponsons to get it to handle like he wanted it too, and even then it took him a while to get used to it.
