How many surf riders have a surfing background?

i surfed a whole summer when i was younger but never really got into it even though i live in surf city usa lol. always been all about skimboarding, and for thoes of you who dont know much about skimmin watch some vids on youtube. thats the most difficult sport iv ever done but the abuse your body takes is just too much. i found that jetskis were my happy medium because i could hit waves and boost airs and not land in 6in of water. sufing just gives me inspiration and is awsome to watch.

Rode a board since I was 5. My dad had me out on a chopped down longboard he made for me. I'm now 27 and have not touched a surfboard in the last three years since I have met my current crew. (FX Mafia) in nj. I said to myself I would always go back but that seems very untrue now. I use alot of my skills on a ski but always wonde if I still have it. Most of my surfer friends wonder why I gave up. But a motor under my legs. Ya right. Soo bada$$$

ya i was riding a bunch during summer but my wetsuit ripped and im puttin all my $ into riding dirtbikes in the desert during the winter. i remeber riding with you the week before u went to surf slam...i had the white chevy n white rn

The good news is there are tons of used wetsuits for sale cheap in HB. Sticks found one at a garage sale in good condition for one dollar. Then he gave it to me for my birthday.. arty:

Surfed the Venice jetties before school started (H.S) water 53 and air 38 in a 3/2... cold front waves on the gulf coast with off shore winds and clean in the morning; also Sebastian inlet back in the day...Had a 6'6" G&S swallow tail that was fun but learned on a 9'6" Dana Point Hobie...still have my boards for memories...
