Super Jet How many would want a lowered nosepiece/hood look for only 80 bucks?

227 and I have a mold for a rn lowered nosepiece that will fit a lowered pole bracket, but taper into the stock hood. This could save a thousand bucks for someone with a lowered bracket, that wants the clean look of the lowered nosepiece with the ability to do hood / nose tricks. I wanted to gauge what kind of interest there is for this, since i'm doing one for myself. if someone else wants one, i can have a couple more made.

How much stronger are the aftermarket hoods? I see cracks in all the hoods. In fact it seems like I see cracks in the after market hoods much more often. ? Coming from a kawasaki i do not know the ways of the superjet build quality, breaking points. Etc.

You don't see cracked superjet stock hoods cause the guys riding hard enough to break them have blown them in half. They don't crack, they explode. Someone going as big as you will wreck a stock hood fast with one big pancake.

Then I guess I have some incentive to pancake because I want a new rc freeride blowion hood. Pancake ing is not an if. it's a when.

I like the one I have. It's an older design, but looks good. I think r-pot made it.

i'm just waiting for 227 to finish the plug

The plug isn't even done? What happened to " I have a mold?"

it will be hard to make that nosepiece flow nicely.

I was told to make it line up with the stock hood, ditch the holes and just ramp it down. my first plug he said was still a little too tall at the top and center so I dropped it and that is what I ended up with. also fabbed hardware to it so you dont have to drill and put a screw thru it.

wasnt it 227 that asked me to make it for him? thought I texted him and he said he was good? lol it was made after the foam shape he posted for me to work from.

post 14 pics are shaved down a little more. the carbon is for my lowered hood I dont think it would work with a stock hood to well.
