Super Jet How much to cut off handlepole spring?

So my springs tension is too much for my AC pole how much do I trim off?

mine looks like this, I know cutting it wouldn't reduce tension but I have an AC pole and it doesn't come back down all the way cuz theres not enough weight

And that's a bad thing? I like weightless hand poles. IMO

If you want to have the same feel, but make it rest closer to your hood (or natural riding position?) you could use a torch to heat the coils until the pole sits lower. Just don't go too far.

replacing my stock pole bracket with a WDK I heard somewhere u need to trim the spring for it to fit. Is this true and if so how much?

just the end that rest on the bracket. i assumed that he was using a oem bracket.
