Super Jet How much to pay for Vinyl wrap?

but i can tell you right now it doesnt look like that anymore. we did a test on the durability of the wrap on the bottom.... and it failed hard. but hey we tried, problem was that we wrapped the bottom over the vinyl on the side so once water got in to the bottom wrap, it tore the sides up. would have never happened if we didnt wrap the bottom. i also had a piece on the hood get blown off but im very hard on my stuff and they are going to warranty the work. mine has not faded. its not bullet proof but if you take care of it it will last along time. i just thrash my :):):):) so it shows he he he he heeeee

That looks great...im pretty hard on my stuff too but also take care of it. I realize it wont last...which is why I don't want to get an expensive paint job done. The guy that painted my R6 offered to do my jetskis for around 1k each...but thats just too much to me for paint(and it wouldn't even be anything crazy at that price).

If you were to have someone do all of that in paint, it would be thousands of dollars.

BTW...did I say your ski looks great? :arms:

Been doing some more checking around...alot of places wont do it since thats not their specialties...having a hard time finding anyone that will really throw out pricing.

First shop said $7-12 per square foot. Design rate $65 per hour

A friend said he has a place that does it for $10 per square foot..and this dude is very artsy so I am thinking he may be wiling to do the design for me ALOT cheaper than the other place..Gotta call him today and see what I can get worked out.

Now I just have to get some general ideas of what I would want on them. Or I can just tell the guy to run with it and see what he comes up with.

thats the one bonus with a wrap. you can tell a guy to go nuts and you get to see what he came up with on paper since its a printed design, no guessing game. i know a painter could do the same on paper but you still dont know what your gonna get and how it will look until its actually complete. vinyl guy can even print a little piece out so you can pick colors and approve on looks. sweetness and pretty cheapness.
