Yes I know. There is also this post. http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/111089-Krash-Industries-Hull-Prices-2012&highlight=

I've spoken with Nick Barton (Krash ind) recently as I inquired about a JB1 (same pricing) which I am very interested in.

Hull with Black or White Gel Coat $5,000
Hull with Wrap + Turf $6,000 (Custom Graphcs +$300)
Adjustable footholds $420
Shipping, Sea $700, Air $900

These are all for the Glass version of the hull

So, for me to get a hull that in the same shape as a Rickter lets say would be ~$7,120 plus pole bracket.

Not extremely expensive but deff getting up there. Deff not $5400 otherwise i'd have one on it's way to my house.

Changes the way l looked at the cost. Thanks for the info!

the foot rocket is awesome...handles way better then the kdx...and is more stable...

It is a bad ass ski. We need Brian at Thrust to get a big shipment in. These seem like a big hit lately. If got a bunch in, it would save us a bunch on shipping and also be more readily available.

Didn't say it had a wrap or turf.. $5400 is what someone from Cali who has a down payment on one told me, just double checked the text.

*EDIT* Haha, I like how the KDX thread became a Footrocket thread. I still want a KDX!

The following is what I was told via Nick Barton when we spoke recently. Im just relaying on what I was told and assuming is the truth, not a thread that was posted 8 months ago. In no way am I telling you that you are wrong, just was trying to help and get the information out there for those that are curious.

"The base price for a gel coat finish is $5000. At this stage the next available JB1 will be 4 to 6 weeks from time of deposit. Freight is $700 by sea and $900 by air."

"A standard graphic JB1 with twin wells is $6000, carbon engine bay ($400), adjustable wells ($420)."

For the record, the twin well is double footholds (one in front of the other), not the adjustable footholds as we've seen on many other ski's.

Matt's a baller, he don't know about no entry level sh!at. :silly:

1) Yes, his is carbon and on a different level
2) He spoke with Barton at Surf Slam
3) He Ranked 1st in the NW for Flatwater Freesytle
4) Hes a well known and sponsored rider by many companies

With all this being said, he may have worked out arrangements with Barton that doesn't apply to the every day Joe trying to order a ski.

They might have different pricing for JB1 and Foot Rocket? :dunno:

That my friend is very plausible. In my mind, if anything you'd think the foot rocket would be more cause it's the new hot poop. Maybe not. I know in one of the other posts, also 8 months ago like your one your referencing to, they were the same price.

All I'm saying, is if I can get one for $5400 shipped, I want right meow (since we are using cat references^^) lol.

Guy from Cali piping in. This is from the April thread of Krash industries 2012 pricing. I'll try and give nick a call to verify everything.

Footrocket
The footrocket is our latest creation for the flat water specialist and more advanced freerider. With tunable length tail plates and comes standard with the 15inches of adjustment in the tray this hull can do any thing from flatwater flips with low cost running gear in the lakes and rivers to 540s in the surf and over the next couple of weeks just wait and see.

Comes with Adjustable Carbon footholds, inbuilt scupper, the capacity to carry your battery in the tradition position or the back of the firewall, tunable tail plate taking it from JB1 length down to flatwater flip lengths.

Flatwater 33kg Surf 38kg glass composite black or white gelcoat $5400, Graphics and Turf $6300, Carbon Look $7300, Carbon Look carbon/ Kevlar composite $9100 26kg all prices include feight to the USA.

Well, I most certainly hope thats the case and for everyone thats purchasing one or looking to purchase one. That in my opinion is much better of a deal that what i've mentioned above. In all honestly, it was kind of a turn off having to spend and additional $420 for the adjustable footholds. Im glad it's a standard feature in the foot rocket.

Maybe it's because Nick had to create a different mold to do the adjustable footholds on the JB1 and is trying to recover costs for having to do it where as it was made into the first foot rocket mold. Just a speculation, I have no idea.

Chad, as you've actually pulled the trigger and sent the deposit, I'm sure your pricing is a little more accurate than mine even though they both came from Barton. I guess the JB1 and the Footrocket do have different pricing.

Although i dislike being wrong... I will admit defeat on this one.

Between the additional costs for the footholds and the shipping charges, i've chosen to go with a different hull :/ My expectations were a little different prior to e-mail Barton because of the posts he had made earlier in the year stating the 2012 pricing which have been brought up in this thread. Therefor, after I got the quote, I was a little set back and disappointed because I was really excited to run a Krash hull.
