Other How to Add Air to a Rickter?

Still no breathers on my 1100 minus the pole. Just because it sucks tho hood down. Doesn't mean anything. Half a psi over that hood would make impossible to lift.

Ride the ski without the hood. Record max top speed. Ride with hood. Record.

I'd rather lose a little performance vs hacking holes into my hull

Now that would be fun to watch! Group of people drag racing freestyle skis. Bet a few of those would go well over 60mph if you could stay holding on.

A little negative pressure in the hull may make those leaky scuppers close better. If you look close the hood and hull sides move slightly when the throttle is opened.

Scuppers close when you stop moving(forward). Hence the engine wouldn't be running, unless you have neutral or reverse on your stand up.
Scuppers should be open when you're moving to let water out!

Yes.. good point. The Blowsion pole (solid piece )seems smaller than on the RRP pole(2.25 inch tubes)

You do NOT want anything to do with a scupper unless you are 100% sure of staying on top of the ski. The typical AM hull will go under fast if it gets upside down with a scupper installed. Keep the charging system and install a pump for regular use.

Actually, The water moving against the rubber flap is what opens them, not the ski moving. As long as you are moving water does not come in. Now when stopped? Each ski is different. My Rickter lets water slowly trickle in.
