how to break in new motor hard?

straight line blast for a 1/4 mile WFO, then about half throttle back repeat the process over again for about 20-30 minutes

many of the pro race ski's from the ProMod days never got broke in........well, at practice they might get a light break in or on friday afternoon before the race weekend.........

I just ride them farely easy is all I do.

I say let it warm up and come in check for leaks/issues then ride it like you're going to. :headbang:

Although the examples shown here are motorcycle engines,
these principles apply to all 4 stroke engines:

What about two-strokes? :dunno:

One rule of thumb about 2-strokes that I do hold to be true:

They usually run best JUST BEFORE they blow...:sad:

The break-in can be very short (30 min) if there is plenty of piston clearence. Extra care and time is required for tighter fitting pistons.
