How do I get a new 2019 Yamaha SuperJet on Long Island? I know they don’t meat the NY emission laws and are classified as a racing ski. I’ve heard many different things. Just looking for the real answer before I try to buy one.

Hey I’m in the other state (Ca) that you can’t buy them. I purchased one in Nevada and was told I could just bring it to my dmv. That didn’t work today. I was planning on registering in Nevada at a family members house then transferring title to Ca used next year. Anyone have any suggestions? It would help at least two people out greatly. Thanks in advance
What did dmv say?

They said I need a emissions certificate. She went through most of the paperwork and then we got stuck there. I tried to give her a race number and said it’s private closed course only but I still need to register it and that didn’t work either.
Not sure tho. That’s y I have the post

From my understanding with California at least it has to have a title and current registration in another state, typically Arizona. Only then can you easily transfer it into your name in California with a valid title and registration.

Do you
They left the odometer info blank on my title. If it was a demo or used ski with some hours they sold me would they still need a emissions cert? I already filled out my Ca address info on my title.
