Super Jet How to delete full cap for rn??

I made a fiberglass piece that I glassed in first. Then I filled the space with foam, glassed over that, and finished it of with a light coat of filler to smooth it out. Paint it and run it!Pretty simple. Just make sure you use the right resin!

Man these are some great ideas. Stunt I think i may go that route. But whats the right and wrong resin? Does it matter what filler? I saw some polyester filler at autozone. Would that work?

You need to use EPOXY resin or it wont adhere to the surface. Polyester resin wont work.

I used the West system 105 Epoxy and 205 hardener. They also sell pumps that will measure out the exact amount needed with every squirt. Totally worth having around.

For filler, I used Bondo spot putty. Read the back of it. The stuff I got has some flex to it. You won't be using very much of it so you shouldn't have to worry about it cracking or anything.

Never understood the reason to remove the fuel fill cap from the outside of the hull. The cap has never been an issue for me.

Gil has his registration and two contact lenses in a little container made from the Thrust exterior filler. His is a badass little cup.

I decided to do the same so I got the external fill and the internal filler.
