650/X-2 How to get out westcoast domes?

I just picked up a ep7500 west coast head and want to replace the orings. Been told to just put some old spark plugs in and tap on top of them to pop the domes out. Tryed and failed the domes dont want to come out tried some pb blaster and still nothing. Anyone have some ideas to get the domes out??

Are you certain the domes are removable? You could press them out, maybe try adding heat.

From all the posts yup the ep7500 head has removable domes but pessimg them out might be the next plan

I have one of those and I think I just did it with my thumbs. They were easy, that's for sure. Turn it upside down with some old plugs in and smack it on a block of wood. I'm sure it'll pop out.

Not sure if they are locking domes but if they are not you could try and put an impact on an old spark plug while applying downward force on them to try and rattle them loose.

Thanks but i got them out i had to use a press just realy coroaded inside

they just pop out

put a few wood pieces under head(placed around outside edges).

then just use a rubber mallet n a socket to smack them out.. they should come out fairly easily
