How do you jump a start/stop switch on a superjet? Do you have to pull the E box apart? I bought my wife a 650 square and it would only work if you bumped the ss switch around....now it won't even click. Battery is charged.

help...don't want to put a bunch of cash into this ski if it doesn't even run good, so I just want to water test it.

You can just pull apart the connector outside the ebox. There are 2 connectors that go to the SS switch, one has a brown wire. Disconnect it. Jump the terminals on the ebox side, if it cranks, the issue is switch related, if not, it's in the box.

U can test the solenoid.

It's got 4 wires. 1 thick wire to the battery, 1 thick wire to the starter, 1 thin wire to ground, and 1 thin wire to the start switch.
Short the wire going to the switch straight to battery positive. Does the same as pushing the start switch.

to test the starter and cables you can jump the top of the starter solenoid with some pliers or a screwdriver. That way you can try to isolate the problem.

Starter is shot...Jumped the Solenoid...nothing...Ran a cable straight from the battery terminal to the wire going to the starter...nothing.

I think they are both shot.
