How to make a 1200 blaster?

We should hook up when you get the 1200 blaster done. I ride in whitehall all summer long, great lake and its only a 2 minute ride through the pier to lake michigan. We have three waveblasters between my buddies and I.

How much HP Is an 11 or 1200 stock? Looks like you'd have a hard time fitting a pipe in there if you wanted to. Lot of options out there now for performance engines based on the 701. I'm not trying to talk you out of it, I'm trying to talk myself into it :fart:

i have all the parts to do it. just havent got to it. motor is sitting on the bench for 2 years now. lol i have a 1200 with 1100 ele on it. was going to do a b1 1200 but think i mite do a b2. looks like the b2 is a better fit and more usefull. e.i. run time on a tank of gas and not waisting a good b1 hull . (i am sure a b1 with a 1200 wont last a week in the surf ) i have 701's that are close to the same power as the 1200 with out the weight.

My brother built a B2 1200 with a ported motor, race gas compression, reeds, tripe 48 Full Specs, total loss, mag pump, etc, etc, etc. It was a fun ski, ran around 60mph, but to be honest, was never anywhere near as fun as a nice blaster 1. If I were going to do it, I would only do it in the B1 hull.

Just my opinion.

The 1200 is rated at 135 hp and I think the 1100 is rated at 110 hp.

I might not do it. I tried to pick up my 1200 engine (out of the GP hull) and it didn't budge, lol. I read the stock pipe will fit but it's tight.
