great info. im waiting back for a response from Tom to purchase them. looks like hes in florida, lets hope he ships to Idaho.

Any tips on supplies? im going to use a grinder, DEP cement, sometype of expanding foam, and fiberglass cloth. What about the other material, epoxy or something? can someone give me a brand or item specific material for what else is needed besides glass.

In the tech faq their should be some info on it. A quart of epoxy resin, a few layers of 6oz cloth on the seams and a layer or two of 1708 in the tray. And first, glue and rivet/screw the footholds to the ski before glassing.

Ryan, you really need to look at a few titorials about footholds installation.Better if you Google it,it will be easier to find.Probably will bring you right back here.

Thanks Kny21. Ive bought Toms Footholds and got all the supplies i needed. I have a shortened aluminum handlepole and im a pretty short guy, so ive decided to cut a bit off the back of the side trays, maybe 3 inches, which will bring the footholds closer to the front by 3 inches. And im going to drop the top of the side trays down a few inches to bring them down flush with the top of the foothold. And im going to have a small tray look on the rear. Ive ordered 26mm plush padding too.

Any thoughts or tips on what i just mentioned here?

Then you need to look into xscream dvx footholds or Superfreak footholds. And I think @crazyjoescustoms has footholds similar to those.

Youll have to understand ive had no padding on my initial ski. So getting a 26mm plush and carving a foot marker seams better than what ive came from. We learn from trial and error. And im actually ruling it out already based on everyones comments, but thanks also!

you are the reason
As long as your feet smile when you put em in and your happy in the end is all that matters. Takes time to get the perfect fit. I'll modify mine later if they don't smile. Peel back or add another layer here or there. Most important is to turf with the shoes your gonna ride with.
