How to REDUCE arm stretch?!?!

i'd put a cap on the extractor port.....but be careful, it might not even run after that...

I like water screw idea......we went thru this with jens brother this weekend...

he was struggling getting up, and I think LESS power might have helped.....

what head is that i might be interested in the head if you part out the engine

It's an "East Coast" head, not sure of the dome sizes in it off the top of my head...

Will get back with you. I've had several people inquire about the engine already.

Danny was planning on selling that blue square he has. It has a brand new factory pipe and was super clean. I think you saw me riding it last time I was at the secret spot. Call me tonight, I will get ahold of him.

along the lines of the throttle cable idea,

- i think newer couches have an adjustable throttle pull, so younger kids can ride and not go so fast? maybe do some research on that and experiment. but that seems like an easy idea to me.

That'd be over-limiting it, I think.

When you hold the holeshot button down it can limit your RPM's to 3000.

My plan is to hook my hole shot button to a toggle on the MSD plate and when the wifey wants to ride the ski just flip the switch. I don't have to worry about her mashing the dock at WOT it wil only be at 3000 RPM at the most. I just didn't know if you could keep it like that for any extended lengths of time. I will find out... Well I might call to verify before cooking a TL system.

I just don't know how much power the ski has before 3000 rpm. I have never rode with a holeshot button or a tach.

3000 RPM will be very weak. You would be better off reprogramming the rev limit on that TL.

The hole shot rpm limit is adjustable from 3000 to 6750. So I would have to find out what RPM I think new riders could handle then set it for that. I am still learning about the TL systems. Since mine isn't here yet but wouldn't that work to reduce the power output without harming the motor or adjusting the carbs or pipe screws as described here? If I am wrong please explain since I know nothing about a TL system except what is in the instructions.
