How to remove OEM exhaust bezel???

Location

If anyone could provide me with some quick input i would appreciate it! Im trig to drop my ski off to paint today and this is the last thing holding me up! Ive tried for hours to remove the OEM exhaust bezel and can't get it off. Ive cut through all of the silicon and gasket that sealed it to the hull but somethings holding it up. When i try to pry it off the entire exhaust tube in the tray is pulled with it. Ive tried penetrating oil and heat but i can't get this thing off. If anyone has experience removing one of these please chime in, thanks!

maybe the tube and bezel is one piece..why not just tape off around it? the rubber outlet cover will cover any tape lines once it is reinstalled

I know its serrate because TMB sells a replacement low profile one. I know it comes out i just have to figure out how. If i had known how difficult it was i would have taped it off but I've already cut all of the gasket away so now i have to get it off to replace it

i must be thinking of another piece..

to install the tbm piece all you need to do it unscrew the OEM piece and pry it off, then throw some sealant on the hull and install the new one. its not hard at all

That's what ive been trying to do for the last week. But when the flange is twisted or pryed it pulls the entire exhaust tube with it and is breaking the seal in the firewall.

drill/grind out the rivet inside the tube near exit point and push it into the hull foam.heat up the flange to soften the glue and twist ,pry and pull.a buddy can also hold the pipe inside compartment to help.

Well I finally got the SOB off! Apparently after drilling out the rivet I only punched out the very center of the rivet and the outer portion was still holding it on. The carbon deposits hid it well so I didn't see that there was still some there. Thanks for the help guys!

Per chance do you still have that OEM exhaust bezel? if so, I will buy it from you.

If it looks like this.
