Super Jet Hull damage, fixable?

Hey guys I bought this ski (650 superjet) used and didn't see the damage in the pictures. Not sure how I missed it. I know your supposed to use smc based epoxy resin or just plain epoxy resin.
Was wondering what your thoughts on it, does it seem fixable?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

no problem
My son caved in the entire nose of a 750 and I rebuilt it :)

grind out the crack , get rid of the dead parts, drill the ends of the crack and fill
with epoxy and microballoons/carbosil and then reinforce the inside with glass

Follow those steps but reinforce from the inside and then fill from the outside.

I knew I could count on you guys :)
To reinforce from the inside I would need to take out the engine, correct? If so how do you do that? I understand the 4 mounting bolts obviously must come out but is there much else?

SBT has complete directions on their website for removal /install of pwc engines. Probably a good place to reference if youve never done this before. Good luck with the fix. I prefer epoxy based resin. West Marine always has a good selection. Its expensive stuff. They also have the fillers to mix with the resin. The fillers allow you to vary between strength and sandability. Microballoons are perfect for sanding.

Thanks, I can't seem to find it on there website, all I seem to be able to find is various engine parts
Nevermind got it, seems well worth the extra effort thanks guys. In case anyone else stumbles upon this post.

Just so you are aware the directions are intended to break your engine down to a short block. I would leave the entire motor assembled. You only need to remove 4 motor mount bolts. Water line. Fuel line. Ground cable from battery. Hot from starter. Throttle cable at carb. Rubber exhaust tube going to waterbox. A 701 completely assembled is easily removed from the ski. Just place the ski on the garage floor and lift motor forward a few inches then straight up. Then you can put hull up on a shop stand.

Thats what I figured but thank you for reaffirming my assumptions.

alright so i've got west systems epoxy and will probably pull the engine today if it stops raining.
Another question, the hull behind the engine compartment seems to get alot of water in it, i assume its coming through the engine bay where the wires go through? Any one figure out a great solution for preventing water from entering?

So found where it was leaking into the kneeling area
You can kind of see in the photos that its cracked almost entirely across the edge.
You guys think a one sided fix will be strong enough here? Is there a way to fix it from the other side?

Cmon guys I could really use some help on this one, I've taken off the hydro turf and found that someone has caulked it or something this has caused the deck to be permanently wanting to lift up, and to top it all off the foam on the inside is waterlogged. Can anyone pointing me to an article on how to split the hull.
Please guys.

A multi tool vibrating cutter. (like fein) or 20 dollar harbor freight cheapy works good too. Cut a bunch of slits in the foam with that then use a big pry bar and it comes out in large chunks.

Awesome thanks guys,
This is what I've been using so far with great results
