Well, not really, the hull is still bulletproof and water tight....but I run it up on rocks and the beach and leave it laying on the cement ramps and slam it into the ground in 2 feet of water from 10 feet up....:smokin:

The bottom is lookin pretty gnarly....How long before I wear through the hull or make it weak? Do I need to put some layers of glass on the bottom this winter, or just keep runnin it... Any maintenance I can do to it? Put a layer of carbon on the bottom where the gel coat is gone?

Hull builders???

Great facial expression, DJ. If you're willing to sand off all the paint, you could laminate a thin layer of glass or carbon onto the bottom. Or let it be, and repair when needed. Either way it may be the same amount of work.

C'mon. Sure you can. I've seen guys who transport their boat trailers from the launch to their beach for storage. They drive with the trailer strapped UNDER the boat.

On second though, just put a spim coat of thickened epoxy on your hull every few months. Way easier.

I wouldn't be running my aftermarket expensive hull up on rocks or leaving it on cement launches. :) that's just me The beach is one thing

Other than that IMO sand the bottom with some 40 and use some epoxy resin with some filler and skim coat it like mentioned above

Maybe you could try to put a strip of SS sheet metal down the bottom of the ski and rivet and fiber glass it in place? never seen that done before but should "protect" it. :) Not a whole lot of weight....<-thinking outside the box.
