Hull extensions

Dont flame me. I love the way the 21 sj handles. I love everything about it but i cant go buy 1 this year. I am trying to make my round nose feel more like it. I was informed to check out the 36in front sponsons, which were easy to read up on.
Hull extensions....this searching was hit and miss. I get they will provide stability and traction, especially when paired with a long ride plate....but...will it trash the handling or make it more predictable and 21 like?
I enjoy the rn but i cant get that dang 21 out of my head

I have hull r tensions for the 1996 thru 2007 superjet if that's what you need. 08 and up are different

You are not going to get an older SJ to handle just like the 21. Many racers use to use the hull extensions. They added stability to the hull for rougher conditions. If you are not racing, This may hurt your performance overall.

Any mod you make to a ski is a give or take. You add a long ride plate, it handles better at speed but you lose some playfulness. You add an aggressive intake grate, you gain grip but can lose some top end. With the extensions your top speed handling can be better but if your wanting to do power slides and such, the ski can be more difficult to break loose. Every mod makes a change. It just depends on what you want to do.

Ok,that makes sense. I was expecting that. I prefer...at the moment...for the ski tobbe predictable. Lol its y i switched from racing a 300 2st to a 250f. Just faster on the "boring" ride ‍♂️
