HULL/SKI TRANSPORT

Happy Fathers Day Everyone!

Couple questions.

How come we don’t have a section for Hull/ski transport on here for those that are buying or selling skis/hulls. Seems like we have a national network on this page that could help assist each other on here.

Also there is a hull I would like to get from North Carolina. To either New Hampshire or possibly Oregon.

Thanks for looking.

I've used YRC to ship a couple hulls in the past. It was easy on my end, I paid for my container size and weight online and they confirmed when I dropped it off.
One hull that was supose to be delivered to their residence but he had pick it up at the terminal, they never even notified him that it was there.

YRC has seemed to be ridiculously expensive previous times I have looked.

I have a private shipper with an enclosed trailer based out of Costa Mesa California.. He goes all over and could get you a quote

Just took a Fx1 to Arkansas and a Fr2 to Florida for me for a grand.

Whats a yrc and what's the process
think UPS for stuff one pallet or larger. You put in your dimensions, where youre dropping off, where the buyer is picking up, when you're dropping it off, and then you pay. Print out your BOL (freight transport receipt), sign it and bring it to the office at the hub. They'll make a copy and your buyer picks it up at their hub in a few days. It's extremely simple. most people just don't want to spend the 30 minutes to prep a ski to ship. It takes me less than an hour to get it ready to ship then it's 15 mins to the hub for drop off.
