It like the east coast might be getting some big surf from Matthew.

Carolina Beach freeride next weekend could be epic depending on path.

I wanted to try to ride Thursday, but I have a meeting I need to attend. Been wanting to make it out with you guys but the last 2 years have been rough. Rode some surf the other day and felt pretty great. Hope to see you guys soon.

Better make sure the park is going to be open. With the path of the storm Standard OP would have the park evacuating a day or so before a major hurricane locks it path. Cat 3 + is no joke

Track was revised much closer to shore so probably much rougher surf in the southeast than I was hoping for. I feel bad for the Carolina Freeride, hopefully track will get revised again farther to the East.

this thing is going to chew our beaches up. may not be able to ride at the zone for quite a while.

1n 2004 it shut us down for weeks if i recall

Going to a wedding in DC starting tomorrow through wednesday. Glad the storm is changing paths a bit (I suppose for my own selfish reasons?)

Looks like the latest track has it looping back around to hit Florida again and emerge into the gulf
