Not 100% sure..but I will tell you that flights into Daytona are usually a decent chunk more...and will almost always include lay overs.

yep, but isn't the traffic around MCO much worse than JAX?
when I had inlaws in FL, (Ocala) - we would fly to JAX even though MCO was closer.

not too bad if it's not rush hour... Jax will be just as bad now. The thing that sucks is Jax is way north of Jacksonville and MCO is south of Orlando so either way you are forced to drive through the city. I would take SR417 route to the airport if it's rush hour and you will be fine, it will just cost you 5$ in tolls... SR417 goes around the city to the east and is pretty quick and easy.
