Hybrid Carbon

I was asked to start a thread about the custom hybrid carbon I used in the current Trixstar hull I'm laying up. It's a carbon/dyed fiberglass hybrid. The hybrid carbon is used strictly for aesthetic purposes, the rest of the layup is full carbon.

I wanted to do something a little different to show what kind of customization can be done and I think it turned out pretty good. There are some pretty amazing new hybrid fabrics that are available now, if you check out www.compositeenvisions.com you can check it out for yourself. The Reflections and Mirage line are pretty amazing in the Raw fabrics section. I ordered some samples of them to check them out in person.

Looks good. Whats the white stuff in the red on the back area of the hood?
Maybe just reflections.
