hydraulic hood opener for a blaster. where do you get them any auto parts store? what's the measurement for it? and do you just use one of them.are they worth it. anybody have any pic's of how there mounted on your blaster.

i never use mine any way i let the thing just flap forward the fiberglass can take (just make sure ure not on an incline and its not windy

guess you could say it one less thing to remember when your opening you hood for anything. personally i'm throwing one on just for the sake of not having to remember and fight with the prop arm

The little arm that holds up the hood just seem sketchy too. Kind of bendy when its holding the hood. Let me know if u do this and pics would be good too.
 
i have one on mine, its a dual setup, I def like it a lot, not having to deal with the arm everytime i can just pop the hood open with ease, and plus its baller, matches my mint b1 very well :)
 
Took some pictures for you Teddy. My setup doesnt pivot at the stock location on the hull side, its moved forward, Its pretty easy to get length, just prop your hood open and how far you want it open without binding choose 2 points Hull side and hood side measure it out.. then you have your exact length you need for a shock.. you can prob just do one side and go with a heavier duty shock, but I chose to do 2 so it would support both sides of the hood without twisting like the stock setup.

Mine is 19 1/4 in from end to end of the shock..

ek98.. does your steering cable rub on the hull near the bracket when you open the hood?? mine rubed down so far i could see the inside of the cable
