Nope.....personal prefrence....if there is any diff its minor. I like diamond because my mind is set to think more grippy looking material, but I've rode diamond, groove and smooth and really cant feal a diff

Trying to decide on turf. Any difference between the two other than look? Grip and wear, that sorta thing.

Diamond is far more forgiving to work with. The eye catches misalignment of groove far easier than with diamond. You can stretch diamond all over the place and it will still look clean and straight.

I haven't used the groove on anything but my old blaster. I will say, the cut diamond seems to wear faster than the molded diamon. LBE runs cut white diamond on his FX1 because they only make molded in black and gray. His turf has DEFINITELY worn faster than mine....and I think I actually get a little more seat time in than he does.

I'll second that.

Charles is the man at turfing. I don't think anyone can turf better than him. When it comes time to turf your boat ask Charles for some pointers. He did mine and it looks awesome. Thanks Charles:biggthumpup:

Weird...I've been using the same diamond for 2 years and only place is the usual near the foothold tops

Of course your turf hasn't worn, you don't use it when you're on the hood as much as you Jesse.

I've also heard Charlie does some nice turfing. Does he use heat or does he have cuts in the turf? I really like how it looks without cuts. I think we talked about that at Smith Lake.

only problem with doign them the way Crammit does is you get a funny looking spot at the rear where it turns down, you go from linear lines to a curves section where he stretch's it.......... very clean...........

I just have a hard time spending that much time on turf for it only to get trashed............ Mine is trashed from this season

if you take your time and install it right, itll get trashed less. besides, the longer i take, the more CLs chick is going to have to buy.:trink26:
