650/X-2 Hydro Turf gaps? Any creative ideas?

Guys,


First time turfing and it went pretty well except for my cut lines... They're not horrible but still kinda look like .. Any ideas on what to fill it with? People are telling me black caulk. I just want something that looks clean. I am still in the process of touching up the edges. Rest of the ski is done as well but pics are from the beg of the project.

Looks good! Not to bad at all. Id leave it and ride it. Your gunna have to redo it eventually someday if you ride enough. REMEMBER, its for GO, NOT for SHOW.

Thanks guys maybe I will, hell this paint/turf project ended up going all summer had to ride my gfs 650 for fun. So used to posting in the 650 thread ending up doing it for my sj. I'm just gonna put this back together and ride for the rest of sept. MI winters blow..

A bead of color appropriate silicone would finish up that sort of detail.

Try and find a flat finish caulk/silicone, glossy with look like crap

Took me forever to fing grey silicone that came even close, run a bead of super glue to keep water and dirt from getting underneath

5200 black plain and simple. Use a small flathead screwdriver. Tape off where u don't want it (gel, paint) and it will never come off

X2 on the 5200. I did my last ski that way and it worked out great. It's a subtle touch that finishes the job off perfectly and keeps the edges sealed from peeling.
