Haven't heard about the freestyle but Pabloescobar, Mcdog, and I all live there so I'm sure we'll be watching at some point.

I'm thinking about making the trip down to watch and hang out. Don't know if I will bring my ski. Definitely will not be competing.

My crank gave out within the first 20 minutes of riding on a fresh rebuild so my ski is down. I could bring the sit downs/my parents skis but theyre extremely underpowered in comparison.

God i wish this were next weekend instead!!
Exams next week so i cant spare the time. But 1 more hellacious week before i get to ride.... or at least work on my fx1 pump conversion for now. cant wait to get it done, its a pain

I checked the website hosting the event and the schedule didn't exist. I dont' understand why it's so difficult to post that. Even the Daytona freeride which was organized by one guy and is primarily just a bunch of people riding around had a schedule. I asked on pwctoday because that was the only thread on it at the time. BK said that practice is usually supposed to start at 9AM and realistically starts around 10:30. So I guess the racing will start around lunch time...or whenever they get around to it which will probably mean that I'll miss most of it.

Apparently the buoys are already set up at the location and people are practicing... Just an FYI.

Thats pure torture for me. Such a close ride and im stuck at school worrying about finals...
