hydroturf "b" question

so what is the deal on the hydroturf "b"? is it basically a good sheet of hydroturf that didnt pass inspection for some minor flaw and so they sell it cheap? or what is the difference compared to the regular sheets. thanks. ~jamie

Basically the same stuff, with some imperfections.

Most of the time, you can't tell unless you inspect it like a show car. To the laymen, they wouldn't know the difference.

I'd like to ellaborate:

Most of the time = 85% or more of b-stock (is hardly noticeable). Chances are good you will get some nice b-stock. HT has excellent quality standards, and that is a good thing.

Good stuff! Got a sheet 2 weeks ago and another yesterday. It took some close inspection to find out why it was "B" stock looked fine to me!!

how much will one sheet be enough to do. i have a 87 sj and a 88 x2 that both need to be done and what does everyone use for glue? like Goop or what? ~thanks

Use HT glue or Dap Weldwood contact cement. Also an option is some 3M stuff, not sure what it is called.

If you dont mess up , you can do the tray area with one sheet.
but if your wanting the rails turfed you will definately need 2 sheets of turf!

use 2 coats of glue on the rails and allow it to dry completely before applying the next. oh yeah the heat gun is your friend!
