hydroturf fading

Does the colored hydroturf fade as bad as i've heard. I was looking at getting some royal blue sheets for my ski but was talked out of it to just getting black. Said that any color will fade pretty bad after a year of riding. Is this true or should i go with the blue and not worry about it.

I know red turns pink in about 2 months.

Well that Purple seems to last forever. Pulled off two 12 year old skis and still looked as hidious as every.

The whit is hard to keep clean.

my turf usually only lasts a season or so before it wears out anyway.

I cant imagine most colors fading that badly (besides red). Unless you leave your ski outside uncovered all the time. But you have to think everything will fade eventually
