I’m an idiot... broken driveshaft

Man I feel dumb. Got a shiny new impeller from my wife for my birthday. Install was going great. Everything had anti seize and cane apart great. Went to take the prop off the shaft and would not budge. Knew it was backwards threads and checked it was the right direction several times. Eventually used so much force I mangled the prop tool and bent the driveshaft. Then welded the prop tool to a huge plate, added more force and broke the prop tool. Then welded a 5’ pipe to the old prop and broke the driveshaft!!

After all this I realized I was going the direction. I’m a moron....

Well, at least jetmaniac has new drive shafts in stock. Hopefully I only lose one weekend. Grrr

its sounds funny but I actually drew an arrow on my workbench once the pump is in the vice I always know which way it comes off....

might just be because im old ...hahahah
