The pipe on that ski is way to big. I had trouble with mine and wanted to do the same thing.

Try pulling the engine on a waveventure....pull the hood/steering/tanks/etc., slide the engine up front and then pull it out. WTF!

My friend an I did that to his seapoo xp, so we could stick the motor a into his seapoo jetboat..He also has a forklift so i think the motor was out in a matter of 10 minutes :)

I have that ski and that pipe is big.. I'll bet that pipe makes as much if not more HP than a B pipe. Its too bad the SJ didnt come OEM with a pipe like that MFer.

Also that pipe will only come out one special way and go in one way. Once the pipe is out the motor will come out easy..
I hate that pipe, but it makes gooooood power.

I am parting a 97 venture and had to do the same thing the other night!

one of the bolts broke off on the exhaust mani and it woundnt come off.....the engine bay opening on those couches is TINY!

we are spoiled with superjets..I mean you can drop a 701 motor in with carbs, headpipe, hell...ive done it before with the chamber still attached..

to get the motors out of these things you really have to disassemble 90% of the ski!!!
