I did the rivet thing cuz I didn't feel like screwing w/the foam any more than I already had.

i thought it was easy, really not much to it and it not HARD just takes time and if you use bolts youll spend alot of time hunting dropped nuts, that isnt fun. foam pulls out with pliers, easy.
but it is so 100% worth it. must for freeride

Mine was pretty easy, took me about an hour total. Did it with all cables in place, just cut the fiberglass with an air powered cut off wheel, then cut through the foam with a steak knife so I didn't damage the cables. Best mod I have done so far, what a difference! I feel 10x more comfortable on the ski now. I took 3 inches off mine.

yup.....being where i am now that is what i would probably do if i were to buy another one. by the time you mod one up you will have a buttload in it anyways right? but the positive aspect of it is that modding my ski up myself has taught me alot that i would not have learned buying one already done up.

Seems like alot of guys are going between -3 to -4 short on their poles. Is that total length? Ex- I have the short Blowsion turnplate -1 and my pole bracket is moved forward 1", so if I cut my pole -2" I will be -4 overall. Should I cut it more? Whats is every one shortening overall? I ride surf 100% and I'm 5'8"
