Noted. I was planning on running the 148 solas mag pump right off the bat. Iv heard that they do ride loose a little. I suppose if its too loose ill rectify with a larger pump.

More impeller pitch not a larger pump. A 148 with a 701 you'll want a 7/14 most likely. Then you can fine tune with the nozzle diameter or impeller shims.
