I love finding out reasons for forum names

I'd still be riding if there were more people around here that did. I got really tired of being the only one out on the river or having to drive 3 hours to hang with others.

Well my nickname has been tonto ever since I moved to the US in 7th grade because our mascot was the Indians, and I had a pretty good war call. The track coach started calling me tonto since my best friend was a cowboy and had his own horse. And I was really tan for living in the desert.

Before I had heart surgery I did a lot of cave exploring all around the world and had an orange reflective "speleopower" sticker I put on one of my caving lights. In 1995 or '96 I had to choose an email so the first thing that came to mind was the sticker on my light-cause it was sitting on my desk at the time. I have used Speleopower on just about every forum and email since. Speleo=cave Power=power...cavepower. It's not really a nickname or anything. It's just a sticker on my light and the first thing that came to mind when I first had an e-mail address. I still have the light and it still works great. I was using the light tonight and it's sitting on my desk so here's a picture.
I"m still into caving but it is very painful now to crawl across sharp gravel/rocks with big scars down my chest and stomach.

Same here. Most here meet up on Sundays at the beach but I have other obligations that day. I work 1/4 mile from the lake so that's where I go when I do have time to ride. Does get boring at times.

First name is Matt last name starts with a C, hence the Mc and rider is pretty obvious. I use it for all my forum names so if you see it on another site it's probably me.

Previously I just had my intials and my ama number from racing MX for many years (JJC568). So I wanted something more unique and I asked my wife and she came up with this one. Unfortunately Its pretty fitting because I use to buy and sell alot of trucks, plus in our sport I dont know if anybody is ever satisfied. If they were we wouldn't have billet 1200s, and the extent of freestyle would be a sub.
