Hi, I'm in need of advice on a issue on a 2001 seadoo gtx di I just bought it for a steal I think, I was wanting a project and that's just what I got lol it's throwing the maintence code on the dash and the red light keeps blinking it's been overheated in the past but still has great compression 150 & 140. The main issue I can't figure out is it pees out the back great but when I launch it it won't pee or pump water and over heats in a matter of minutes!
What could the issue be is it the jet pump or fuel pump?
I've looked in all the lines and pulled the jet pump and all the lines seam to be clear and the jet pump looks to be in fairly good shape it also still has the original impeller to it appears.
Oh and every 5min or so when it's on the hose it will throw a very loud alarm it's ear piercing, and the previous owner lost the sport key so I've only got the learned key to use until I hopefully get it running right then I'm planning on sending the new sport key and mpem bog to a shop to get them program it and hopefully reset the maintence message. The ski just turned 107hrs to if that helps.
