One thing I found on my trailer was that there is a gap at the rear where the decking ends and they butt it up to a piece of metal. This area traps water and in my case, salt water, and rotted out the metal in less than 2 years. So, whatever you decide to go with, needs to run over this gap so the whole thing is wash down capable.

Years ago there was a product on the market for deck coverings that was made of a woven mat that you would glue down to your plywood deck and then coat with a fiberglass resin. We would bring it right up the sidewall for a truly waterproof and virtually bulletproof deck. Even shovels chipping at ice in the winter would hardly touch this stuff. Not sure if it's still available though.

Edit: Here is a similar product as I mentioned above. It's made in Canada so I don't know if it's available in the US or not.

Thanks for the input .. These are all good ideas ,in one easy thread!! .... Im leaning twards the spray on rino liner but have to put some thought into that rubber diamond plate , that stuff looks sweet if you can permantly seal the middle seam and the sides and looks to cost about the same as the rino .

I too would like a good solution for this. I thought about a rhino liner nut not sure about adhesion to wood and how it will last.

Im running indoor outdoor carpet in the one we use with skis and dirtbikes and uads at the dunes. wood floor and walls were sealed with polyurethane and then all joints were cauked with bathtub caulk. carpet wraps the corners and goes 12" up the walls and was scotch guarded to help resist water. garden hose water just beads up and rolls off the carpet and sand gets washed right out.
