it was packed really well,it was double boxed with peanuts and 4 pieces of 2 inch foam on every side of inner box,and engine was plastic wrapped too

so definitely not the packers fault

and i agree if your job is too "tough" or hard get a different job!dont half ass it and throw peoples :):):):) everywhere

the bag around the engine with expanding foam outside the bag and the engine inside the tote with a wooden frame is the way to go.
 
Someone mentioned for'' quickly ''shipping engines in a coleman type cooler stuffed with padding . I thought that was a pretty good idea , but have not done it myself .

I think it's funny how many people have said to tell all the people who work fedex/ups they need to find a new job

My old package handler was fresh out of jail with face tattoos. I can guarantee you he doesn't give a :):):):) about your package. Now hand that package to a disgruntled driver.
