Ya i took the bumpers off also. I bought the blowsion rub rail, a little pricey but served the purpose and looked real nice.

Well I got back from wk on wednesday.

Stripped the ski today.
Has Kawasaki 750 SX Racing rideplate, Scat 47 R prop
Will give it a big degrease and start the sanding tomorrow.
Will take pics and start a thread up.

Quick question, there is a switch (factory) under the start/stop - whats it for?

The small plastic lever under the start side? If so that's the lock so it can't be started accidentally.

it locks the start button so when you working on it or anything like that you cant accidently start it
