I weighed my SXR...

Yeah that thing HAS to be soaked. Andrew and I carried mine up a flight of stairs without too much trouble. Granted I am probably the strongest person ever, but still I don't think mine weighs that much! Were you standing on the ski when you weighed it, lol!?!

I would be willing to bet that its soaked (foothold foam and oneway foam) since my oneway cracked.

Plus you can add too much blowsion bling, soaked SJ chin pad, etc..

no gas - actually had the tank out so add 3 lbs or so to that

I know the UMI weighs more than a stock SJ pole, but not sure about a stock Kawi pole. I know those kawi poles are kinda heavy.

My goal is to drop it to 320 or less by the spring, soon as the shop gets done I'm ready to start tearing it apart.

sxr foam cant get wet. its not like superjets, its a preformed (I believe closed cell) foam. You can have water leaking in the rear behind the firewall, but it wont soak into the foam. Its the same foam used in the front under the waterbox and around the gas tank.

i think what im going to do is use the stock drain plugs(get one more) an put them on the inside of the pump area so i can drain what ever water leaks past the scupper an exhuast side!

Damn, I've been wanting to weigh mine, but now I'm not sure if I really want to know. I think those tanks weigh more than 3lbs. I had mine out and I was shocked at how much thicker it is than a SJ! I forgot what it weighed, but I think it was about 9lbs.

Thats what I was thinking. SJ=291 and SXR=351. Plus all of our crap and fuel and 20 seems right. Is fuel about 7Lbs per gallon?
