Got out on the skis yesterday in the Grand River

Yeah I don't doubt that. The main part of the river was pretty Ice free, this was just an overflow where we thought it would be fun to pull them up on the ice. Didn't do it for too long!

I used to make a run every year and try to be on the water the day the ice broke up. Never got a sweet pic pulled up on the ice though.

Had to use a chain saw to cut the shore ice. Felt great to get out today!

The worst for me was attempting a sub. I nearly blacked out from the shock of the cold water hitting my head. I took a knee and spun a few circles before I got my witts back. The DNR guy watching from shore got a kick out of it.

Couldn't launch at my place because the ice had drifted to our side of the lake. Good thing my riding buddy lives on the opposite side, can't believe we rode on the lake on February 9th!
