I got one of these chargers and was just wondering how the guys using them supply them with power. I notice it has to plugs to plug into a power supply for rc stuff it seems like. Wondering if anyone if just using a cord or something?

Thanks

It requires 12 Amps or more of 12VDC current. You can get away with less if you charge at a low amp rating. Most use a 12vdc power supply, such as the ones found at www.radiocontronics.com

They are far superior to what you posted. They are high grade server rated for critical voltage accuracy, and are mega powerful lol. The other is fine if shipping is an issue, but at $40 for 47A, it's a serious bargain. I use one myself.

Like speedy said, I usually use a 12 volt battery while I'm out riding. At the rc field it's a completely different story. Regardless that charger is a great one and will charge any battery you could ever want.
