Other Idea to tie down back of ski and handle pole

I didn’t want a strap rubbing on my new turf and needed a good way to tie the handle pole down, also without rubbing anything. I picked up a pin from tractor supply company and cut it to length. It comes rubber coated and was only 8 dollars.

great idea, but just how strong it the handle part of that hitch pin? does it stretch or bend the handle when you tighten down the straps?

That looks like the tractor pins that I use. If so they are very strong!! Good idea

its not the pin in doubting, but the handle where all the stress is at.

back of my tray is D-cut so the the nozzle has clearence when i pull the trim so i got no hole to go threw

the handle is very strong. the fiberglass would crack before you would even bend the handle. what does it mean when your tray is "D-cut". I understand cutting it for a trim.

Those pins are super strong. I use one on the front of mine for the older style pole/pin towers.

On a side note, I had never thought of using it on the rear like that...clever.

I just leave the poles up in the air at all times to save spring life. Stock pole shortened no water logged foam in pad, pole stands up on its own.
