Couple little diddy's I did.

If you look at the rail on the SJ, the turf color matches the stripes. Mark Gomez recently did a ski with the same style rails and it looks good.

Dopeness. I love a good turf job. Sloppy turf makes me cringe.

I hate to be a semi party pooper but from my experience (and friends as well) the two tone turf doesn't last very long. The top color always seems to loose its bond with the bottom color within a few months worth of riding. It pisses me off that you pay more money for it and it doesn't last at all.

I'll try and post a pic later, but on one of my buddy's skis, his foot hold bottoms have lost all of the top color.

Edit: Awesome looking turf jobs, by the way. Please know that I am not dogging anybody's turf, just dogging Hydroturf itself for an inferior product!

This is Jerry Jones's Blowsionized ski. No special cut outs but a nice overall turf scheme that works well with the paint job. I included the pic of the tray before turfing to see how the under-padding was shaped.

Probably not, but buy it anyway if you want. I'll keep buying it even if i have to redo it every winter, I love working on my ski. Or maybe just do the gunwales and rails in two tone and use the regular stuff in the tray. I haven't had any issues with my mat yet, I purchased and installed it this year though. So maybe in a cpl more months i'll start to see wear.

well ordered some 2 tone and was talking to one of the reps about the 2 tone, and he said that they just fixed the peeling problem. he said that before they had sanded down 2 sheets and glued them together, but now they are just "foaming" the 2 colors together? so no more peeling hopefully!!!
