Idiocy in the surf

I guess I'm fired from the position of 'surf predictor'. I thought the morning would be clean and little; turns out I guess that storm way SE of us kicked up some big stuff and the north wind made it smooth as hell.

Maybe not the best jumping surf I've seen, but it was so pretty.

I would say that you need to lean into the roll a little more and speed up your rotation. so when your going off the wave, lean towards front exhaust. that will level off your roll and let you tail it in a little better.

In March I could not get him to try one (niether did I:rolleyes:) and now he is doin friggin :bigeyes:10 foot rolls. His stabs were huge in March though, I was envious. Can t wait to get back and ride with both him and James.

the problem is jerry i am on a huge lake named gulf of mexico :biggrin:
we cant hit waves to close to shore because of peps and on the outside breaks weird sometime no break at all just a huge ramp.

but i'll definitely try both to see how it fell better

Yep; I belive he'll be smooth as you soon :) Need some smaller clean waves, though. He's nuts going upside down on the stuff we had Saturday!

on that Jan weekend i first laded i also did not complete one and hit my chin witch should have get some doc attention ...but dec 31 in the hospital ...no way

thats the reason i dint try any in march ...
