Flame ignition has a dual spark setting already, so maybe with dual plugs you can set the sparks closer together?

I specifically looked at that photo on FB this morning and overlooked the double plugs. I was trying to see if it was a 1400 or something.
Hopefully you didn't look to hard since it has the 1200cc sticker on the flywheel cover.

Thats nice to have in airplane world, but not in ski world.....
More spark seems to relate to more power. During aircraft recip. engine run up, comparing left mag. , right mag. and then both, you'll often note an additional 200 rpm when both are firing, with the same throttle setting.
25 years ago, when Westcoast had a twin plug set up, it did seem to make a difference compared to sgl. plug.

Anyone who has been around arctic cat snowmobiles should be familiar with the 4 spark head. They've been doing it for a while.

How about a single plug with three grounds?

Multi grounds just means the plug might last a little longer before becoming fouled. Dual plugs just means a better, more complete ignition and burn of the a/f charge. Yes, same idea as MSD but with mutli plugs instead of multi sparks from same plug. I know on cars at a certain rpm MSD stops being multi spark and is only a single, that won't happen with dual plugs.
