If I were to manufacture these:
I don't think only one ski would do, we would need a budget/beginner ski, freestyle, and race. 3 hulls, 3 2-stroke engines; 650, 800(low rpm tune), 800(high rpm tune). All engines would be interchangeable with only the cylinders and pistons changing. All engines would use same Direct Injection kit with 4 different ECM chips, the 4th chip being programmable. No more cast pipes (manifolds ok) and the pipes will be performance tuned to their respectable genera. 2 types of interchangable jet pumps (144/150) running nearly the same components where possible. 2 interchangeable tank sizes (2gal, 5gal) with internal fill. Pole should be lightweight and aluminum, welded tube or single oval bent tube would fit this requirement best. Factory implemented bilge pump with proper mounts and easy replacement with standard pump types (tsunami/rule). Hydroturf (or equivalent), factory equipped for aftermarket footholds. EPS foam everywhere including tray. Smaller hull like 300sx, epoxy, hand laid woven, tubbies, a moderate amount of rocker, Bolt on trimmable hull extensions (no extension yields -3"). Easily User Serviceable including an engine that can be removed by only unplugging wires, and maybe 2 nuts for the starter. 300lb limit on the budget and race skiis, 260lb limit of freestyle. Government Lobbying to allow this thing to be produced and RIDDEN
