If you ride a motorcycle/scooter on the street/roads, please read!

Interesting! Also fortnine makes some beautiful videos!
Fortnine is a great company.

So all these "self driving" vehicles are not seeing motorcyclists. Its pretty pathetic, so LOOK OUT and keep your head on a swivel!

I don't trust human drivers either. Seen too many accidents from people not seeing bikes. I stopped riding two wheels on the road. This includes bicycles.

I still can't get over the folks out riding bikes and they don't even check for cars when they cross the road. Headphones on and no spatial awareness.

I would be dead x10 if I didn't check and expect cars to do the stupid things that they do. From riding bike all the way through college to riding my moped today.

I do a fair amount of road riding. I am leary of cars, so I always check intersections. I mainly only ride back roads, this is safer. Also run a Garmin Varia rear light that has a built in radar. It tells me when a car is coming up behind me.

So basically you are having to use advanced technology to protect yourself from advanced technology, brilliant !

Still use my ears mostly for anything coming from behind. The radar does pick them up from pretty far way, My Buddy can also pick up my radar so if he is in front or behind he gets the same warning tone and it actually shows the car as it gets closer to you.

Exactly, I have been riding for over 50 years, taught motorcycle safety for 15. Don't trust anyone but you
That's what kept me safe, but eventually took me off the road. I spend too much time worrying about other vehicles, not enough enjoying the ride. Even in cottage country, riding mostly open roads that wind around lakes, I almost got killed by a cop passing someone on a blind hill.
