JFB is the man, and if you don't know him...you all should come and meet him and watach him ride.
And I don't know what the situation is with this being "invite only" but I am sure our lovely LP will clue us in really soon, and I would not sweat it too much. There are a lot of top professional level surf riders here in the US who have not competed in the IFWA yet this year (Darin Anderson, TC, Slutty, Pancaker, FJB, Luke, Jerry, Cuong, etc.) and I can not imagine a contest with out those guys. I am sure what ever the situation with the invite only stuff...it will be all sorted out LP always takes care of us and the sport.

I'll bet everyone with a good skillset will be able to compete...sorry for the news on details coming slow. My partner on this has been traveling, and I know I don't apprecaite info being shared without it being a joint decision, so I'll wait until we can make the announcements together...want to make sure eveyyone is on the same page.

You really think so? I thought it was okay last year, but the break where we have our permit will be MUCH better...plus you will only have to roll out of your tent/RV/truck/wherever youend up passing out to see all the action!
