Super Jet Igni Pro for Superjet

You don't have enough in the mid range there is alot more throttle response in your engine by ramping that up, I can make a better curve for you if you like. Its just ignitech software I have that on my pc already

Hallo Wax,

For my curent build i use the ingnition section of an Megasquirt injektion an can tune the advance in conjunktion of rpm and throttle angle. What you think is the hardest advance at fullthrottle for a 10mm 85mm Dasa at what rpm's???
Its for flatwater freestyle and 1-3seconds at fullthrottle....

Thanks,Andy

Hi Andy, i've gotten diffrent cruves and ignition timing setups from diffrent guys, DASA, PFP and guys running big engines. Most are in the 27-30deg BTC area and retard around 5-5500rpm, and end around 13-15deg BTC. I dont know if any of you guys in here run more advance? I will also be a question on compression/porting and what pipe youre running?

I tried a couple of curves with my Total loss on the 885 10mm
32 dg timing 5500 start retard with 12 retard Detonation on pumpgas
26dg timing 5500 start retard with 15 retard not very reponsive on the Bottom runs real clean
29 dg timing 5000 start retard with 15 retard was the best without detonation

all rev limtier 9000

I tried the new Ignition today with Wax curve. Runs good! I just need a little more fuel down low.
I noticed that the engine runs more rough/sputters just over idle. it disappears if i give more throttle. is that normal?

Yup put more fuel in down low. It will smooth it out a bit but will also make it crack harder on the throttle

The feedback we gave following the BETA test of the HX3 was that the jetting needed to be fattened up down low, the extra spark energy can deal with more fuel = added Braapp

I took the carbs of today and rejeted from 70 to 72.5 low and i decided to install a primer kit when i had the carbs off, so i removed the choke plates and shaft. Removed 2 screens from the OEM F/A too. What pop-off should i run now?
I installed two brand new 1.5 needle and seats and two "730-03027T" 95gr springs and that gave me about 36-37 PSI on both carbs. Thats weird because i should have around 43 PSI with 95gr spring. Is 36 PSI to low?
The ski is stock except mod B pipe and ignition.

I did put in 75 instead of the 72.5 and i have ran a tank through. The ski is definitely more responsive and have more low end hit. But i think i'm on the rich side, maybe jet down one step or increase the pop off a little.
Overall i'm pleased with the ignition. Hope it last :silly:

I will say this ^ is working well on my DASA 1,000 PFP setup with epic. 30 degrees is where it's at. I'm running 28 from 1500 to 2200 then 30 from 2200 up to 4750 and back to 12 at 8k. It's a beast no deto on av gas.

When I installed my Hx3 in my SS865, I didn't have to touch the jetting, maybe I was a little rich to begin with. By the way, I have been running the Hx3 since January without a bit of trouble and I ride most every weekend,

Thanks, waiting for ATP totalloss for a friend and like to try this....

I have had an igni pro in a sxipro superstock for 2 years now and it is awsome, flawless every time I change tunes, I will be getting another one as I too was skeptical of it at first. A lot cheaper then others and it works the same way. Never knew what to time my own setup at, so just play around with it, it takes only minutes to change timing. Only difference is what you run for flywheel and pickups, lighter will always be quicker. I run TBM flywheel, no charging coils and only stock trigger pickup. NEVER ran out of battery juice like the MSD total loss' did.
